Jewelry Care and Cleaning

How do I care and clean my B Fly designer jewelry? We take our time designing and making each piece of jewelry that comes out of design studio. We select the best quality materials that are durable and are easy to care for and clean. We want you to enjoy the jewelry we made for you so we back it with a 3 Year Warranty as well as provide resizing and repairs after the warranty period.

Although you will a little more in the upfront cost, we prefer that you select our B Fly Stainless Steel designs to ensure a long-lasting piece that is easy to care and clean. Our Stainless Steel designed items are hypoallergenic, easy to clean and will resist tarnishing and discoloring.

Stretch/Stretchy Bracelets and Necklaces

Stretchy/stretch bracelets are one of the easiest simplest bracelets and necklaces to put on. The trade off is they inherently require maintenance and routine care.

Care: NEVER sleep in your B Fly jewelry. We recommend that you accessorize your awesomeness after you have put on lotion, cologne/perfume, makeup, etc.

Store: Your B Fly piece comes in a soft pouch and/or jewelry box. We recommend that you store the jewelry in the jewelry pouch (or jewelry box) in a clean dry place. Please make sure it is stored loosely fastened/clasped or unclasped.

Cleaning: Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents or solutions. You can polish with a jewelry cleaning cloth.

Sizing: Please make sure your bracelet or necklace is the correct size. Please note over stretching will cause the bracelet to loose its elasticity and/or break under the stress. It is a good rule of thumb to have your jewelry item restrung every 1 to 2years to prevent it from breaking (if piece is frequently worn).

Clasp and Lobster Clasp Bracelets and Necklaces

Clasp or fastening jewelry will provide the most durable and long lasting jewelry.

Care: NEVER sleep in your B Fly jewelry. Put it on after you have applied lotions, oils, make up, etc.


Store: Store your B Fly jewelry in a clean dry place, preferably covered and padded. Store loosely fastened or loose.

Cleaning: Wipe with a soft try cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents or solutions. You can polish with a jewelry cleaning cloth.


What is the return policy? Our jewelry undergoes several quality checks before it leaves our design studio. If you find that your jewelry does not meet your expectation, we will allow return of any unworn B Fly piece within 30 days of receipt of the item. Please contact us for your Return Authorization number (RMA). The RMA is required prior to returning your order. B Fly reserves the right to refund payment in kind or as a store credit. Note: Custom designed pieces require your approval prior to proceeding to production and cannot be returned.


What is the 3 Year B Fly Warranty? It is a warranty that is included with all of the items we make. We will repair or resize our products if needed within 3 years from the date purchased from us. Simply contact us with your request and we will repair or resize your B Fly item. After 3 years we will still resize or repair your item if needed, just contact our customer service team and pay the repair fee cost. Your item is well made and tested to ensure it will last for years to come.

Gift Certificate

Can I return a Gift Certificate? Your Gift Certificate can be used towards a stock or custom designed piece. Please note, our Gift Certificates cannot be returned or exchanged for cash value. Additionally, the Gift Certificates do expire so please take note and use the certificate before it expires. We can reissue a Gift Certificate to extend the expiration on a case by case basis. We've been repairing and designing jewelry for more than 14 years. After repairing store bought jewelry, our company's owner quickly realized she could tweak it to make it fit better. She turned this problem into a business. We love to make and design jewelry for both men, women and unisex. We do still repair and redesign jewelry. We are located in Omaha, Nebraska.
